Follow Quest students on their journey to Antarctica

During this first block of the Spring semester, 12 Quest students and 1 tutor (Colin Bates) are moving the classroom to the R/V Akademik Sergey Vavilov, a Russian science ship, for the field course Quest for Antarctica.  This is the second time that the course is offered, in which students will explore both the science and the politics of this isolated and underexplored landscape. The unique course is a partnership between Quest University Canada and One Ocean Expeditions, both based in Squamish.

If you are interested in learning more about this course, or keeping updated with the students’ adventures, check out the Quest for Antarctica blog here
