As the seasons are changing, the celebrations and festivities are ramping up. On Friday, December 4th, Squamish had a local Santa Claus Parade. It was raining pretty hard but that didn’t stop the Squamish community from going out and celebrating the holidays. There were hundreds of people lined on the sidewalks of Squamish’s main street, Cleveland Avenue. All the floats in the parade were either representing local business, corporations or smaller communities.
Quest was represented by this month’s Self, Culture and Society class as they paraded down the street in a silent candlelight procession. Graduate Kelly McQuade was also in the parade as well as Professor Jeff Warren.
