This year, students and faculty have collaborated to create Quest’s very own Academic Journal! The initiative was conceptualized by two ministers on the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) who wanted to create a way to both recognize and archive students’ outstanding academic work. In order to be published in the journal, students first need a faculty member to endorse or nominate their work. After this occurs, papers go through a rigorous peer review process with a committee of trained student peer reviewers, before being reviewed a final time by a panel made up of faculty peer reviewers. Once a paper has made it through this process, papers of all disciplines will be published together in order to showcase the outstanding and interdisciplinary nature of student work.
Stay tuned because the first edition of the journal is slated to be released this Spring!
