Snowy New Year

It’s sunny again in Squamish!

The sun shining on the snowy mountains across the valley from campus is one of my favourite views here. Definitely not the weather I got back to on Sunday – you can still see the remnants of our first snowfall of 2015 outside. In typical Squamish fashion, we got about 24 hours straight of rain on top of the light fluffy snow which made shovelling the next day a bit of a workout.

We’re all getting settled back into the office after some time off over the holidays. After sorting through the emails that piled up while I was gone, I’ve begun planning for my upcoming trip to Seattle and Portland in February. I’ll be visiting some schools that I missed during my fall travels and meeting with students to do admissions interviews (if you’re an applicant in Seattle or Portland and are interested in doing your interview then, let me know!). Also, David and I will be hosting off-campus preview events in Seattle on February 3rd and Portland on February 4th. If you’re a student, parent, educator, or anyone else in the area who is interested in learning more about Quest, please join us! David will be giving a presentation about Quest, and then there will be an opportunity for you to ask us questions (we LOVE questions at Quest). If you’re interested, the event details will be posted on our website soon.

I hope 2015 is treating you all well so far!
