Quest's Right To Play club breaks a World Record!

Just over 300 participants showed up at the Quest University gym to break the record for the world’s largest indoor volleyball game! The previous record holder had 294 participants. From 9am to 4pm there was a continuous rotation of participants playing volleyball. This event was organized by the Quest’s Right to Play club. The idea behind this event came from Martin Parnell, an honorary athlete ambassador for Right To Play. In 2010, Martin Parnell began his “Quest for Kids,” where he planned on doing 10 quests, in 5 years, to raise $1 million, which will put 20,000 children around the world in Right To Play programs. For his 10th and final Quest, Martin’s goal is to break 10 Guinness World Records at 10 Universities across Canada in 26 days to raise $400,000 and complete is goal, and Quest University was the first school up. The event was a huge success and lots of fun for Quest students and the Squamish community.
