David Helfand, President and Vice-Chancellor at Quest University Canada, recently posted an article in the globeandmail.com website where he explains how every student can think like a scientist. He gives an example of how he taught Kepler’s Three Laws of Planetary Motion in two different classes. One was lecture based, and in the other students were able to write the three laws by using a sophisticated computer stimulation.
