You can’t live in Squamish without strolling through the summer farmer’s market on Saturday afternoon. As a community connection, the market supports local economy and nurtures sustainability within the Sea to Sky Corridor. Venders must make, bake, or grow their wares. There’s always live music to enjoy – this weekend showcased a drumming circle, whose rhythmic vibe soothed the soul, all while we enjoyed a raspberry danish in the warm sunshine. Bliss. Pick up some kale grown on a farm down the valley, or handmade artisan soap, or freshly popped kettle corn, or some bling from a local metalsmith, or….so many other culinary and eye-candy delights. The Squamish Farmer’s Market can be found on the corner of Cleveland and Victoria on Saturdays from 10am-3pm until October 25.
