Snowshoeing in Callaghan Valley

Despite being the middle of winter, it feels like early spring. Although Whistler hasn’t gotten as much snow as it usually does by this point, I have enjoyed the unusual warm weather.  A few times a month, Student Affairs organizes shuttles to different activities off campus including hiking the chief or walking along the beach. This service provides students with the opportunity to get off campus and most times with no cost. Last Friday, I signed up to go on a shuttle to go snowshoeing at Whistler Olympic Park in Callaghan Valley. It was a beautiful day and we got to explore the trails. It is always nice to get off campus try something different.
