The Block system is incredible, but so crazy! There is never enough time, to complete everything you wish to do in the day. Many students find their way to the 3rd floor of the Library building as a space to study, yet also have some fun. There are many circular tables that everyone has access to study at individually or as a group. Seeing that the Library is a quiet study area, having this space has been helpful when engaging in group projects and a more social working space. Some couches scatter the area as a comfy place to work, or take a rest.
Table games are off to one side on the 3rd floor. It’s very common to see students taking a study break and playing a game of pool. There is also a air hockey table, and a Ping-Pong table as well as a giant set of jenga blocks and slack lines available to all students any time of the day. I have had many long nights up on the 3rd floor with classmates working on various projects. Taking a break during work is always crucial and having those games so close, to get your mind off your essay or science report, is the perfect break. Remember… do not forget to have some fun during your study time!
