Plummeting from the sky

I recently returned from a week in Ontario where I spent lots of time with family lounging, celebrating, and eating, but I also spent 35 seconds free falling from the sky 10,000 ft above the ground at an average speed of 150km/h.

I have wanted to skydive since I was a kid, but it wasn’t until this Christmas that I realized that it would actually happen. Celeta’s family got me this experience as a gift during our second meeting. I wasn’t sure if this meant they really liked me, or they were ready to get rid of me. They swear it’s because they like me, but I have my doubts ;).

The experience was surreal. Falling felt more like floating until I looked down and noticed the ground quickly approaching. It was an experience I will never forget so thank you Rick and Tanya for a very special gift and thanks mom and dad for trusting my life to a man named Will for 35 seconds. Here are some photos of me plummeting to Earth.

This moment was definitely the scariest of all; legs dangling over nothingness sitting in another man’s lap

No turning back now…
Trying to look cool for the camera while internally experiencing a heart attack.
